Changing a tire

1. Change a tire on your family car under the supervision of one of your parents. If your not sure how to do it read your vehicles owners manual.Write a type 3 writeup. FCA's: 1.Describe the steps you used in changing your tire. 2.Describe the safety components involved in changing a tire.3. Correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation. Post by Monday 7/30

If you get a flat tire then these are the steps that you use:
  1. Find a safe place to pull over
  2. put your hazard lights on
  3. Put your car in park
  4. Put the emergency brake on
  5. Place the jack (where your owners manual tells you)
  6. Lift the jack high enough so that the bottom of the tire is just off the ground
  7. loosen lugnuts
  8. Then take them off
  9. Pull the tire off (put where spair tire was)
  10. Take your spair tire out
  11. Set the spair tire on
  12. Set lugnuts and tighten but not really hard
  13. Let the jack down
  14. Tighten the lugnuts all the way
  15. Put materials back in trunk
  16. Then your ready to go
  17. Signal and pull out

You should have a little car jack in your trunk if you get a spair so you can just get out and use those steps so you dont have to call someone or a service place and wait for them to get there. Its a lot faster.
